Young Toddler

This group balances active social play with art, music, exploration, snack and rest. Having access to Long Hill Reservation nature walks are a large part of the curriculum. Infants eat, and sleep based upon their needs. Eventually we adapt the toddlers to taking one nap per day where possible.

Goals:
  • Cognitive development through lots of singing, dancing, and stories
  • Expressive language skills for communication of thoughts and feelings
  • Building self-esteem
  • Exploring their environments through their senses and motor skills
  • Beginning one and two step direction
